As of 1:00PM, Tuesday, September 29, 2020, the major water leak at the WTP has been repaired and the plant is back to normal operations. All customers in the SIP should have normal water pressure. Thank you for your continued patience.

The major water leak at the RM of Sherwood’s water treatment plant has been isolated. Crews are working to restore water however there is a need to obtain parts to restore the equipment to normal. The estimated time for returning the water system to normal water pressure is end of day Tuesday, September 29. Thank you for your patience and cooperation, it is appreciated.

Please be advised that there was a major leak on the distribution line at the Water Treatment Plant over the weekend; the leak was isolated and bypassed. The water is safe to consume, however customers may see a slight reduction in water pressure until the leak is permanently fixed.
Work is in progess to have the leak fixed today – unfortunately there is currently no estimated time of completion. Please check here for updates later today.
SaskWater has been on site and WSA has been informed of the situation.
