SaskPower will be sending crews out to complete some hardware tightening on a transmission line that runs from Condie to Peebles (P3C) – shown in thick blue on the map below. This transmission line runs across land within the RM of Sherwood but does not cross any RM-owned land.

This maintenance work will not start prior to May but will go through to the fall.

The crews will need to be at each transmission structure for roughly 2 hours. The crews will either climb the poles or use bucket trucks. With both options, landowners can expect a minimum of 2 light duty trucks out with the crew plus potentially 2 bucket trucks. So, while there is no heavy machinery involved, rubber tire traffic should be expected.

SaskPower will be circling back once the project is complete to address any damage claims that may occur as a result of this work.
