Font size A A A

WUQWATR in conjunction with Agri-Environmental Group Plan (AEGP) and Alternative Land Use Services Program (ALUS) would like to invite you to attend the summer field days.

The days consist of a weed tour where attendees can learn about different weeds, weed identification and how municipalities and residents/producers can help control or eradicate them.  Staff from the Ministry of Agriculture will be in attendance to help with identifying weeds and can provide information about controlling them.

There will also be demonstrations with ALUS (hen house installation) and in Silton you will visit a wetland restoration site. Come out to learn more about ALUS and how it helps support producers for maintaining and enhancing wetlands, wildlife habitat and Nature’s Benefits.  Learn how you can get financial compensation for the good work you do on your own farm.
