RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF SHERWOOD NO. 159
Proposed Bylaws No. 12/21, and No. 13/21 to amend the Zoning Bylaw No. 18/17 in the RM of Sherwood No. 159
Public notice is hereby given that the RM of Sherwood No. 159 intends to adopt new bylaws under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend the Zoning Bylaw No. 18/17.
Bylaw No. 12/21 is intended to amend Bylaw No. 18/17 as follows:
- Zoning Map 1 (and Index 3) is amended by rezoning from Agricultural District (AG) to Rural Residential (RR) for Development of a Rural Residence.
Bylaw No. 13/21 is intended to amend Bylaw No. 18/17 as follows:
- Zoning Map 1 (and Index 1) is amended by removing the Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) Overlay and reverting to the underlying Agricultural (AG) Zone to accommodate a future proposed residence.
- (Bylaw No. 12/21) Rezoning from AG to RR: Proposed Parcel D within NW ¼ Sec. 22-18-19-W2M
- (Bylaw No. 13/21) Rezoning from ESA to AG: Parcel C, Plan No 102217890 Ext 0 within NE ¼ Sec. 8-18-21-W2M
Public Inspection: Any person may inspect the proposed bylaws at the RM of Sherwood Office between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost. The bylaw is also available on the RM of Sherwood website at www.rmofsherwood.ca
Public Hearing: Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 at 5:30 pm in the Council Chambers at the RM of Sherwood Office to hear any person or group who wishes to comment on the proposed bylaws. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the RM of Sherwood office before the hearing.
