RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF SHERWOOD NO. 159
A proposed Bylaw, (Bylaw No. 8/16) to amend Bylaw 9/91 in the RM of Sherwood No. 159
Public notice is hereby given that the RM of Sherwood No. 159 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act,2007 to amend Bylaw 9/91, known as the RM of Sherwood No. 159 Official Community Plan.
Purpose: Bylaw 8/16 is a concept plan intended to provide a detailed development framework for the hatched area within the bold line shown on the map below. The bylaw also intends to redesignate the hatched area within the bold line shown on the map below from Agricultural Area to Industrial Area.
Affected Land: The land affected by the concept plan and to be redesignated is legally described as Blk/Par B-Plan 00RA13665 Ext 4, Blk/Par U-Plan 101915333 Ext 5, and SE 12-18-20-W2 Ext 2 and can be seen as the hatched
area within the bold line in the map below.
Reason: To create land use policy and a detailed development framework to accommodate rezoning for an industrial pipe storage yard at Blk/Par B-Plan 00RA13665 Ext 4, Blk/Par U-Plan 101915333 Ext 5, and SE 12-18-20-W2 Ext 2.
A proposed Bylaw, (Bylaw No. 10/16) to amend Bylaw 10/91in the RM of Sherwood No. 159
Public notice is hereby given that the RM of Sherwood No. 159 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act,2007 to amend Bylaw 10/91, known as the RM of Sherwood No. 159 Zoning Bylaw.
Purpose: Bylaw 10/16 is intended to create a new Industrial Storage Zone and to rezone the hatched area within the bold line from A-Agricultural Zone to IS-Industrial Storage Zone shown on the map below. The Industrial Storage zone will consist of uses which do not result in excessive noise, dust, hazardous waste, noxious fumes, vibration, lighting or other forms of pollution and consist of but not limited to equipment rental, repair, utilities, parking/loading, contactor storage, and accessory uses, etc.
Affected Land: The land to be rezoned is legally described as Blk/Par B-Plan 00RA13665 Ext 4, Blk/Par U-Plan 101915333 Ext 5, and SE 12-18-20-W2 Ext 2 and can be seen as the hatched area within the bold line in the map
below.
Reason: To allow the appropriate zoning to accommodate development of a proposed industrial pipe storage yard at Blk/Par B-Plan 00RA13665 Ext 4, Blk/Par U-Plan 101915333 Ext 5, and SE 12-18-20-W2 Ext 2.
Public Inspection: Any person may inspect the proposed bylaws at the RM of Sherwood Office between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost. The bylaws are also available on the RM of Sherwood website:

Public Hearing: Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday September 14th, 2016 at 5:30 pm in the Council chambers at the RM of Sherwood Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaws presented in the order listed in this ad. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the RM of Sherwood office before the hearing.
