RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF SHERWOOD NO. 159
A proposed Bylaw, (Bylaw No. 03/17) to amend Bylaw 7/11 in the RM of Sherwood No. 159
Public notice is hereby given that the RM of Sherwood No. 159 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw 7/11, known as the RM of Sherwood No. 159 Zoning Bylaw.
Purpose: Bylaw 03/17 is intended to allow one subdivision from a Rail Right-of-Way in the Agricultural District (AG1) in cases where an existing agricultural business to be subdivided is the principle use and provided the use is commercial or industrial and discretionary in the Agricultural District (AG1).
Affected Land: All land in the RM of Sherwood that is zoned Agricultural District (AG1) under the RM of Sherwood Zoning Bylaw (Bylaw 7/11).
Reason: To allow a subdivision of an existing agricultural business from a Rail Right-of-Way at SW 18-16-19-W2.
Public Inspection: Any person may inspect the proposed bylaws at the RM of Sherwood Office between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost. The bylaws are also available on the RM of Sherwood website:
Public Hearing: Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 at 5:30 pm in the Council chambers at the RM of Sherwood Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the RM of Sherwood office before the hearing.
