On Wednesday September 20th , the RM of Sherwood will begin hydrant flushing and valve exercising throughout the RM. We will be starting right near the Water Treatment Plant and working our way throughout the entire distribution system and ending in Parker Industrial.
The entire process will take from September 20th to 27th.
During the Hydrant Flushing & Valve Exercising, you may notice:
- temporary water discoloration
- possible sediment in the water
- a temporary drop in pressure in the area that is being flushed
- large amounts of water in the ditches and on roadsides during the flushing of each area
