Update: The Fire Ban for the RM of Sherwood has been lifted as of Monday, June 16, 2025.
The RM of Sherwood has issued a fire ban effective immediately May 27th, 2025. The Daily Fire Danger Map on the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency’s website indicates that the RM of Sherwood is in the Extreme Zone.
No controlled burn notices will be approved while the Fire Ban is in effect, all burn permits that have been issued are now void.

The RM of Sherwood reviews the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency’s Fire Danger Map to monitor when a fire ban will be put in place for the municipality.
