2020 Municipal Election – Mail-in Ballot Voting

Council of the Rural Municipality of Sherwood No. 159 passed Bylaw No. 18/20 – A Bylaw to Establish a Mail-in Ballot Voting System at the October 14, 2020 Regular Council Meeting.

The revised bylaw allows voters to register to vote by mail by either registering in person at the municipal office OR apply electronically by emailing the forms to info@rmofsherwood.ca no later than one (1) day before Election Day.

Please note that Schedule A and Schedule B require a signature by a witness. This witness may be either:

  1. The returning officer;
  2. The deputy returning officer;
  3. The enumerator;
  4. Any other person authorized to sign oaths; or
  5. Any other person* (*including a member of the same household who is over the age of 18)
