RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF SHERWOOD NO. 159
A proposed Bylaw, (Bylaw No. 19/17) to amend the Sherwood – Regina Planning District Bylaw 10/91 in the RM of Sherwood No. 159
Public notice is hereby given that the RM of Sherwood No. 159 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw 10/91, known as the Sherwood – Regina Planning District Zoning Bylaw No. 10/91.
Purpose: Bylaw 19/17 is intended to accommodate, as a permitted use, one subdivision for a new residential dwelling on a quarter section separate from the principle farmyard in cases where the farmyard has not already been subdivided.
Affected Land: All land in the RM of Sherwood that is zoned A- Agricultural Zone under the RM of Sherwood Zoning Bylaw (Bylaw 10/91).
Reason: To be consistent with OCP (Bylaw 16/16) Policy 5.2.14 a.
Public Inspection: Any person may inspect the proposed bylaws at the RM of Sherwood Office between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost. The bylaws are also available on the RM of Sherwood website:
Public Hearing: Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 13th, 2017 at 5:30 pm in the Council chambers at the RM of Sherwood Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the RM of Sherwood office before the hearing.
