RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF SHERWOOD NO. 159
A proposed Bylaw, (Bylaw No. 13/17) to amend Bylaw 7/11 in the RM of Sherwood No. 159
Public notice is hereby given that the RM of Sherwood No. 159 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw 7/11, known as the RM of Sherwood Zoning Bylaw.
Purpose: Bylaw 13/17 is intended to rezone the area within the bold line in the map below from Agricultural District (AG1) to Small Lot Agricultural District (AG2).
Affected Land: The land to be rezoned is legally described as LS 16, 35-18-21-W2 Ext 12.
Reason: To allow the appropriate zoning to accommodate further subdivision of an existing acreage into 3 new residential parcels.
Public Inspection: Any person may inspect the proposed bylaw at the RM of Sherwood Office between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies are available at cost. The bylaw is also available on the RM of Sherwood website:
Public Hearing: Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 9th, 2017 at 5:30 pm in the Council chambers at the RM of Sherwood Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the RM of Sherwood office before the hearing.
