Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining all roadways, bridges, culverts and signs within the R.M. of Sherwood.  As well as maintaining and operating the water distribution system within the Sherwood Industrial Park located directly north of Regina along Highway # 6.  Residents/ratepayers are encouraged to report road issues, missing signs, plugged culverts, etc.

The annual operating budget for 2017 is $3.477 million an increase of $287,600 from 2016.  In 2017 our capital works projects include asphalt paving of the Hwy 6 East Service Road, installation of traffic lights at Industrial Drive and 12 million dollars for the construction of a new Water Treatment Plant and 4.2km of new water main extensions east of Hwy 6.
