Official Community Plan & Zoning Bylaw

In February 2013, the Ministry of Government Relations forwarded a NOTICE OF DECISION to the Rural Municipality of Sherwood No. 159 approving part of the new Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 6/11 and Zoning Bylaw No. 7/11.  The approval of the Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaws did not include the lands in the Rural/Urban Fringe Area.

For areas outside of the Rural/Urban Fringe, the Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 6/11 and the  Zoning Bylaw No. 7/11 apply.

Please note that the Ministry of Government Relations has directed that the Rural Municipality of Sherwood No. 159 implement a number of changes to the policies contained in the Official Community Plan. The Rural Municipality of Sherwood No. 159 will commit to making these changes in the coming year.
