Drinking Water Advisory starting Monday, June 24, 2019

July.3.2019 Update: Due to unforeseen infrastructure issues, the precautionary drinking water advisory will stay in effect until further notice.  Construction along 12th Ave North, will be extended for another couple of weeks.

The RM of Sherwood is replacing and updating the water hydrants on Albert Street North within the RM of Sherwood. There will intermittent water interruptions to your business starting Monday, June 24 and during various times through out the week.

The contractor, Wappel Construction, will begin construction Monday June 24, weather permitting, by excavating at each existing hydrant, once they have one or two hydrant locations excavated, the water will be turned off so the crew can install valves and new hydrants. This process will happen a few times during the week. Wappel Construction has assure the RM they will provide each customer as much lead time as possible before the water is turned off.

There will be a drinking water advisory in effect starting Monday June 24, until the work is completed and testing of the water is completed and passed. See attached notice.
